Baby Marie Lily Hess was born November 4th at 433am. She weighed 6 lbs and 12 ozs. and was 18.5" long. Two weeks later, she has already gained about a pound and grown about an inch and a half.
We went to the hospital on the third at 6am and were sent home. We came back at 11pm and I was dilated to a 5. She came easily and quickly.
Jake loves his baby sister.
She has lots of hair.
These are her cousins - Scott and Amie's son who is about 4 months older and Julie and Joel's daughter who is about two weeks older.
Spencer's Mom came and helped take care of Jacob the week Marie was born. Because of her, I got a nap between our 5am and 11pm hospital visit (I had been up since 1am that day, so the nap made a huge difference!)
David came to visit the following weekend with his girlfriend Kellie. He was pleased to be the first from my family to meet Marie.
