The kids had fun playing at the Gateway mall in SLC after going to the kids museum after a dr. appointment.

Grandma and Grandpa Hess came to visit for Izzy's baptism. Marie wanted to follow Izzy everywhere and had to be in every picture that Grandma took.
Marie's new dress from DI. She was pretty proud of it.
More pictures they wanted to show Grandparents.
Valentine's Day - as I was getting ready to teach, Jacob asked if we could make heart cakes for Valentine's. When I got home, he had convinced Spencer to do so, and he ran to the door with the cake (with a lit candle) singing happy Valentine's to you (to the tune of happy birthday).
The kids came with me to pick up tests from the testing center. While I graded, they played in the student lounge. There was a chess board they played with and enjoyed running around a big empty room.
This is Marie's Rapunzel dress - another fun DI find. As soon as it was washed, she did not want to take it off for anything.
Spencer's has seen a neurologist in the SLC area who knows and has seen other patients with similar conditions. The diagnosis is still Vestibular Migraines. There is a medication that is known to help this condition and seems to be helping some of the time. At the most recent appointment, he thought that increasing the dosage would help improve the symptoms more of the time. We are hopeful. Spencer also got rose colored lenses/glasses (migraine glasses) that filter out specific waive lengths suggested by the neuro-ophthalmologist. They seems to help sometimes, too.
Baby girl is doing well. We are 30 weeks along and she is bouncing around inside of me.
Jacob and Marie are very excited for her to come.
Jacob loves to color, he does online preschool, Spencer is working with him to learn how to write and we are in the early stages of teaching him reading. He is very helpful and loving. He and Marie love to play together and wish it was warmer so they could go play with their friends in the neighborhood at the park.
Marie loves to wear dresses, do anything Jacob does, help, and express her own opinion. She can be either very cuddly and loving or independent and stubborn. She loves nursery and loves playing with Daddy. She wishes she could go teach with Mommy.
