April 2024

April started with General conference. The kids drew the first speaker and his tie. It might have been Elder Rasband. 

We are currently pregnant. Date of last period was March 13, so we're looking at a December 18th due date if the baby doesn't miscarry and makes it to term. I have been tired and nauseous for the past 2-3 weeks.  

One of Devin's new favorite places is the shelf where we store the waffle blocks. 

Marie has been working on the school play since February. She had a couple solo/lines. She was a chocolate chip kiss cookie. 

We also celebrated Charlotte's 6th birthday! Everyone was excited to give her something and Spencer made a yummy Lemmon Raspberry cake. 

Jacob got to go on his AmeriTown Field trip. They spent several weeks preparing by applying and interviewing for jobs. He was a field technician engineer.

Marie's class went on a field trip to a play. 

 

March 2024

March started with Charlotte being mostly recovered from her surgery. We would take a photo of the back of her mouth to see the wounds. Then Devin  would have us take a picture of him like that too. The girls had their dance class. Charlotte missed the recital, unfortunately, but I did record her practice

There was some snow

and some nice days where we all went to the park

Marie learned how to do the monkey bars!

More snow resulting in two snow days the two days before spring break started

sledding with the Neuffers. And Spencer took all the kids the day before

Then we went to Stephen's house for the rest of Spring break to help with their kids while Nicole had baby Samanta. We stayed at a hotel and the kids got lots of pool time, Spencer and Stephen took the kids to Kung Fu Panda 4, and Spencer, Stephen, and Jacob went shooting one morning while the other kids were in school. 

Aaron hurt his knee the day Samantha was born, so I took him (along with Devin and Lydia) to the urgent care to check it out. They couldn't figure anything out

The girls and I got to visit Nicole and baby Samantha in the hospital and they loved holding her!

And then they came home right as we had to leave town on Saturday

Charlotte was very proud of putting together her mermaid puzzle from the library

The girls and Devin and I went to the community Easter Egg hunt. Jacob was home sick, but they brought him some eggs

This was Marie's letter to the Easter Bunny. The girls made it a bed, left out carrots, and asked for a watch
