This month, Charlotte started standing and walking from object to object. At the end of the month, she was taking small steps from on thing to another, unassisted. She is very independent and has done this on her own, with out any prodding from us.
We also took the kids to the Denver temple to walk around
This was Jacob having fun during insect week at preschool
Aunt Karen made Jacob a Lightening McQueen pillow case, and this was his note
We made something - I don't remember what the original craft was, but the scraps looked like a crown when taped together, so Marie asked hers to be made into a crown and so did Jacob. They really loved their crowns.
Marie dressed up as Elsa with the gloves, cape, and a ring and wanted her picture taken
Charlotte loves the photo calendar
And it is finally park time. The girls love swinging side by side
And when there is a good wind, Spencer likes the challenge of getting a kite up
And Jacob thinks it's neat that he's big enough to push Charlotte on the swing.
Jacob: Asked for 2 Shark books at the library, then added he wanted a math book! Spencer has been working on him with reading, writing, and math and he's really starting to enjoy it.
Marie: She is starting to show interest in counting and is doing a lot better with potty training than last month. She occasionally has minor accidents, but before we leave home, she plans a head (Mommy, I need to bring extra clothes in case ... skid marks :)
Charlotte: Will be walking by my next post!
Spencer: Had his PRK laser eye surgery final follow up appointment and everything looks great. His eyes have healed and he is doing great. He is not 100%, but he is soooo much better than he was this time last year. He drives frequently, works for my Dad a few hours a week, and stays home with the kids when I work.
Kristin: I talked to a former roommate who just finished her doctorate. She gave me some great ideas and resources to help me keep progressing with my project. I am feeling confident about it again!
