January 2017

January was filled with endless snow and shoveling and snow and shoveling. So much snow that the schools had three days of school to make up (that the school board ended up waiving).

Spencer's sister and brother-in-law moved in with us while they prepare to move out east. Spencer started a physics class at the University and I kept on teaching.

Jake playing in the snow with Uncle Cody and Marie (below) with uncle Cody. Although they are gone a lot for work, the kids adore their aunt and uncle and love having them here. And I'm not going to complain about having an extra few adult hands to help keep the kids happy!

This is Jacob with his airplane that he got for Christmas and in the background, you see Marie, who insisted on putting on some of Jacob's clothes.

Marie loves putting on her snow suit and watching us shovel. Jacob loves to help.

We finally hung Jacob's Christmas quilt.
