March 2021

This March marked the year anniversary from Dad's passing. It was somewhat emotional. We had a blizzard that trapped our whole neighborhood in for at least two days (which meant Mom missed 2 days of work, which is unheard of for her). I spent hours trying to shovel so she could get out, but come the morning, it was too icy and too deep for her short car to traverse.

Spencer and I celebrated our 9th anniversary. Scott and Sandra had lots of their daughters come to visit to help get them ready to move. Laura/Cody and Sarah and Henry both came and worked hard.
And this was a week or so after the blizzard.

Spencer helped Jacob make a marble run for his Technology class. He loved it.

Scott and Sandra joined us for Church

Laura and Cody came to visit. The kids loved playing with cousin Leo.

A look at the snow

and getting buried in the snow.

This is a look out the window. What you cannot see is the street. No one drove on it for over 24 hours.

Charlotte helped me shovel. The show melted very fast once it was moved out of the way. The snow piles took a little longer.

This is a letter Spencer got when he taught Sunday School in Hyde Park, so it would have been in 2017.

Marie made this for me for our anniversary

Jacob made me this lily pad flower for our anniversary, too.

and Spencer got me these and some chocolate and bath stuff.

Charlotte was excited to sleep with Raggedy Anne and Andy that Aunt Karen made.

She liked wearing Jacob's old fire engine jammies and reading the books about fire engines that matched.

Henry and Sarah came to visit, too. Boy did those kids have fun. And Henry worked SO hard to help grandma and grandpa get their house ready to sell.

Grandma's basement close to being finished!

Charlotte. Still sucks her thumb to sleep.
